so, today, I think im going to drive up to Roswell to go get my wheel and tire from my friend Rob. He very kindly mounted one of his old tires he just replaced, onto my rim thats been missing a tire for about two months now. this is a great way to get a free, or cheap used tire, if you cant quite afford a brand new one just yet.
thanks rob, I owe you one for takin care of me in my time of need!!
on another note, i jsut got done building this lego set. Its set 6066 and its been about... 12 years or more since the last time i put it together... wow. this is like, one of my first ever lego sets i believe, and its been in pieces for years, until i got instructions and put it together late last night. its missing some pieces, but oh well...
i wonder if when lego designed this set, they had robin hood in mind, because the resemblance is uncanny! haha, maybe its just me, but i like the way the Lego company in the past, would make a not-so-obvious homage to movie and film characters without actually "selling out" and licensing the product with the film company. I miss the days of blatant representations of fictional characters without credit necessarily being given to the character its emulating. Im all for the new lego, but come on... spongebob, indiana jones, batman??? thats kind of lame...
what do you think??
